I am in Seattle today. My job has me traveling to Portland and Seattle a lot!
I am an aspiring Raw Food Vegan and when in Seattle, I do my best to get to the Chaco Canyon Cafe. Chaco Canyon is a Vegan/RAW restaurant in the University District.
I highly recommend them!
The great idea I came across was there. They had t-shirts for sale. On the back of each t-shirt is their name, address and logo. On the front is a choice of three words, RAW, ORGANIC or SUSTAINABLE.
Oh yeah, you say, what's so great about that? Well, the t-shirts were all used...yep from the Thrift Store, donated, whatever.
What a great idea! The shirts were all different, in very good condition, but with that broken-in feel that makes used clothing so wonderful!
Now maybe I am behind the times and everyone is already doing the recycled t-shirt thing..but just in case...
If you have a business, are looking to be more green, want to get some advertising out there, and do it fairly cheaply (Thrift Store t-shirts are pretty darn inexpensive) this may be the way to go!

I am a child of the 50's, a member of the baby boom. I am a spiritual person who lives for science. My first love is my husband who supports my second love, horses. I have just completed my degree in Applied Equine Podiatry and at the tender age of 53 have found my calling..rehabilitating horses feet from the ravages of shoes and domestication. I am an aspiring horseman and RAW Food Vegan. Sometimes I wonder which is harder... :)
