A New Track

I have decided to change my tack with my blog. I am still interested is a lot of things and I will still keep everyone abreast of my brilliant ideas (lucky you), but I have decided to focus on my Horse Journey.

It is kind of funny to put it that way because I helped a friend put together a Yahoo Group and that is what we named it, Horse Journey.

Well with one thing and another we will soon be dismantling that list and directing people to her blog.
http://horsemanshipjourney.blogspot.com/ and as you can see the "journey" part is still there.

Anyway, there have been many changes in my life since horses came into it. A heightened spirituality, sense of self and how I relate to others, a rebirth of intellect and lateral thinking, enlightenment to "possibilities", broken ribs, whiplash, bruised feet, saddle sore, body sore and a new career.

And the true gift? Walking out to the pasture, smelling the breath of my horses and looking into their eyes.

Life is good.

I am a child of the 50's, a member of the baby boom. I am a spiritual person who lives for science. My first love is my husband who supports my second love, horses. I have just completed my degree in Applied Equine Podiatry and at the tender age of 53 have found my calling..rehabilitating horses feet from the ravages of shoes and domestication. I am an aspiring horseman and RAW Food Vegan. Sometimes I wonder which is harder... :)
